2016年，《乡村爱情8》改变播出模式，成为腾讯视频的网络独播剧，取得了20亿的好成绩，“买个会员给爸妈看乡爱”成了年孝敬父母的新方式。本次与本山传媒再度携手联合出品《乡爱9》、《乡爱10》，企鹅影视自制剧业务部总经理方芳表示：《乡村爱情》系列用现在流行的话来说是一个超级大IP，很多人跟着追了10年象牙山村的故事，希望在企鹅影业与本山传媒的强强联手下，这个IP能够得到更好的加持。据悉《乡村爱情进行曲》依然将在腾讯视频独家播出，并有望在2017年春节与观众见面，再续前缘。
