电视剧《我这一辈子》由著名编剧马军骧改编而成，在内容上进行了大量扩充。电影《我这一辈子》中的男主人公只叫“我”，马军骧这次给他取名叫“福海”，设置了邓婕扮的瑞姑娘和刘孜饰的前妻与他的情感关系，大大丰富了戏的内容和人物的性格。
