本季时间设定将往后来到1990年代，从麦当娜的《Vogue》发行的那一天开始，继续纽约城voguing的故事，“舞厅”群体走入流行文化和主流，Evangelista之家也必须重新评估自己的目标。第2季也将更多涉及第1季笼罩的阴云：HIV/艾滋，将更多看到病魔带来的后果，以及相应的医疗，以及作为黑人和拉丁裔无法得到相应治疗，意味着什么。
