真田左卫门佐信繁，又名真田幸村。日本战国时代真田家家督真田昌幸之次子。关原合战与父亲同在西军，战后被流放于纪伊九度山，后入大阪城。筑起名闻遐迩的“真田丸”，并在大阪冬之阵、夏之阵中率真田赤备军与德川老龟大军浴血奋战，最后在天王寺的决战中，幸村公头戴鹿角六文钱前立兜、乘骏马“白河原毛”壮烈战死，因其英勇无匹义烈无双被誉为“日本第一武士”。 《真田太平记》便是描写自武田家灭亡后直到大阪城决战时，真田昌幸、真田信之、真田幸村父子三人的故事。
