FOX的《#驻院医生# The Resident》已续订第四季，而主创之一Amy Holden Jones表示，剧集新季中新型冠状病毒会占据剧情主要部份，第四季首播将聚焦在疫情爆发的初期，并会描述医护人员面临的各种危险。
