翻拍自2009年韩国SBS的话题作品《原来是美男啊》。在继2011年拍出日本版后，又以台湾版闪亮登场，验证了电视剧的超高人气。在台湾版中，原作张根硕饰演的黄泰京一角由台湾人气组合飞轮海成员汪东城饰演，朴信惠的角色则由台湾青春女演员苏笠汶饰演。韩版女主角朴信惠也有友情客串该剧。
